The Kennel dog blanket coat provides a showerproof (water resistant), breathable, and strong 420 denier polyester nylon outer shell to keep your dog warm and dry. (A fabric's "denier" rating relates to the weight of the yarn in the fabric - the higher the denier, the heavier and tougher the fabric.) A synthetic fleece inner lining provides added warmth. Fully adjustable velcro chest and stomach closures allow for a secure, comfortable fit on each dog. In addition, the coat is machine washable. How to Measure Your Dog:

To ensure a proper fit and maximum comfort, it is best to measure your dog with a flexible tape measure. Measure your dog, in inches, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (in other words, measure from between the shoulder blades down the spine to the base of the tail.) A measurement of 12" from neck to tail equals a 12" on the size chart, a measurement of 14" from neck to tail is a 14" on the size chart, and so forth. This coat is available in the following sizes: 12", 14", 16", 18", 20", 22", 24", 28", and 32". If your dog is in-between two sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
